Jesus Wants a Relationship With You
Jesus Wants a Relationship With You

No matter who you are or what you’ve done, Jesus came to earth for you. He didn’t come to start another religion, to point out our faults, or to belittle us.

Jesus came to save us, and that’s good news!

Ever Feel Like Something Is Missing?

What if what’s missing isn’t a what but a who?

All humans, even the “good” ones, are born with sin. Sin separates us from God. That separation breaks God’s heart and leaves us feeling lost.

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17 NLT

God sent His Son, Jesus, to pay for our sin. Jesus came to earth, died on a cross, and was raised to life to save us from sin, give us new life, and bring us into a relationship with God.

If you want to know what life with God is like, we’d love to help.

Salvation Is the Start of a Relationship
Salvation Is the Start of a Relationship

Salvation is about more than what happens when we die. It’s the way to experience a full life with God here and now.

In deciding to follow Jesus, we’re acknowledging that our way isn’t working anymore. That we’re done flying solo, and we’re giving Jesus control.

From that moment on, we’re never alone. Jesus is the friend who never leaves us or forsakes us. He gives us His Spirit to guide us and access to God, who loves and cares for us.

Common Questions

Why does a person need to be saved

Everybody knows that humanity has a problem. Our problem is our disconnection from God, why? Because of sin. Sin is a rebel from God’s original purpose for humanity. God is holy and perfect, and it is our sin that separates us from him. Our sin must be acknowledged, confessed, and paid for before we can be in a right relationship with God.

Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 3:23-24 says, “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.”

How are you saved?

When you put your trust in Jesus’ payment for your sins and commit to following Him, you are saved. Salvation is God’s gift to you. You cannot earn it, and you don’t have to “get right” to receive it.

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

Ephesians 2:8-9

Who can be saved?

Everyone! We all need saving — from the person filled with regret to the preacher’s kid who followed every rule. God’s desire is for everyone to have a relationship with His Son.

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

2 Peter 3:9

When is a person saved?

We are saved when we receive and believe the good news that Jesus came, died, and rose again for our sin. You don’t have to remember the exact time or place you made that recognition to be saved.

The important thing is that there’s a turning point when life started to look different because of Jesus. This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

2 Corinthians 5:17

How do we know we're saved?

Jesus gives every believer the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us a desire to live for God as well as the ability to hear, recognize, and respond to God’s voice.

John 10:3-5

Can we lose our salvation?

You didn’t earn your salvation, so you can’t lose your salvation. If you have put your trust in Jesus, and the Holy Spirit has changed your heart, nothing and no one can separate you from God.

Romans 8:38-39

Do You Want To Be Saved?

Romans 10:9 says, “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Confess and believe. That’s all it takes to be saved. You can confess to Jesus in your own words, or pray the following:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I admit that I’ve fallen short. I’ve sinned and need your forgiveness. I believe that You lived, died, and rose again so that I could be connected to God. I confess you as my Lord and commit my life to You. I give you my past, present, and future. Take my life and use it. I give it to You. Amen.”
